The Mural Society started 25 years ago this month. It was founder Dr. Bob Andrews’ dream to create public murals that capture our area’s rich history and the Society has been PAINTING THE TOWN ever since. Our heartfelt THANKS go out to you the Community for supporting us and making it possible for us to do this important work.

49 original framed artists renderings of the murals (dating back to 1995) are on exhibit in the Main Gallery at the Visual Arts Center (VAC) & are for sale via silent auction. This is a one of a kind art sale. Don’t miss out on your chance to own one.

Join us as we present the history of the area as told through the murals throughout our beautiful City.  Visit all the murals from the comfort of your classroom seat while we present 450+ years of history using the murals as a guide.  Hear about the Mural Society and get a sneak peek of upcoming projects.
Presented in 2 Parts:
     Part 1 – “The Early Years” – from pre-Spanish Exploration to pre-WWI
     Part 2 – “Post World War I” – continuing the story from WWI to modern day

Book Title Submissions will be reviewed & approved by the Mural Society
The location of each book title in the mural will be determined by the Mural Society
